The Aircraft of the Aces series, devised by Tony Holmes in 1994, has become the most successful list of books ever published by Osprey during its 30-year history. One of the key ingredients to the series' success is the specially-commissioned cover artwork by Iain Wyllie, which has received praise from across the globe. Osprey is pleased to announce the forthcoming publication of the 'The Aces Collection', a unique and beautiful celebration of the aeroplanes and cover illustrations which are an artform in themselves. Thirty paintings from thirty different Aces books will be featured in full colour, each with information about the aircraft depicted in the artwork, the pilot flying it, and the action in which it is involved.
