This 128 page photobook is a sequel to 'Antiques and Classic Airplanes' and attempts to capture the charm of private and sport flying across five decades from 'stick and string' pre-World War I aeroplanes to the sleek, high-performance monoplanes of the 1940s and 1950s. Amongst the gallery of civilian light aircraft featured in this book are all-time British favourites from the Havilland, Miles, Percival and Blackburn stables and classic American designs from Cessna, Ryan, Boeing, Waco, Areonca, Great Lakes and many more.
